The expansion of Monster Hunter Worlds Iceborne finally has a release date of the console, scheduled to leave on PS4 and Xbox One on September 9. The Monster Hunter Twitter account said that a PC version would follow "this winter" we badume that it is the winter of the northern hemisphere, although it is not clear whether "this winter" means the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020.
Iceborne was also shown in Sony's current state of play, which includes looks of new and recurring monsters, as well as new snow mechanics and a capability. You can see that gameplay here:
The trailer above gave us a glimpse of the new snowed biome, along with a fight against a moose-shaped monster with horns and a shark-shaped monster with a razor horn that can be pushed into the ground. We also saw the return of the monster of the hunter monster Nargacuga, as well as a new Elder Dragon named Velkhana. Finally, the end of the trailer shows that you can relive your Palico.
We do not have many details beyond that, but the live broadcast of Monster Hunter is expected to start soon with more information. We will make sure to update this publication with any new nugget that comes out of that.
