Missouri woman arrested after her son, 2, falls out of his car and is fatally beaten



A Missouri woman was locked up after her young son was fatally run over after falling out of his moving car.

The accident was reported around 5 p.m. On Friday on a highway near Interstate 70 in St. Louis County, St. Louis Post Office reported.

Elijah Roby, 2, was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, KMOV-TV reported.

His mother called 911 after taking the injured child to a nearby service station, according to the station.

Ebony Roby, of St. Louis, was arrested by St. Louis County police on charges of endangering the well-being of a child, KSDK-TV reported.

They were holding her on $ 50,000 bail.
