Mini’s Vision Urbnat concept looks like a living room on wheels

You will switch between the three modes by placing the key fob in the corresponding slot. Mini suggests that you may be able to establish your own moment of personal music, ambient light, fragrance and so on.

When the vehicle is stationary, you can convert it into a type of room. The dashboard can convert in a day, and you can open the windshield upstairs to create a balcony space. The rear of the Vision Urbanout will have a quiet area with a so-called “comfortable corner” that feels like a solid reading hook. It even has a built-in table with a plant in the open central area.

With comfort, the Mini has stability in mind. It added that Vision Urbanout would not use recycled materials with leather or chrome, and the main material in the interior would be knitwear. Meanwhile, the Vision Urbanout has single side doors and rotating, foldable seats.

Living room-style self-driving concepts have been around for years, though the Mini is probably one of the biggest players yet to have its vision for this vehicle format. There is no physical model of the Mini Vision Urbanout, so it is not certain how well this will work in practice. Nevertheless, while watching a movie or playing a game and when you reach your destination, roam in a relaxed atmosphere.
