Mike Mayock talks about the NFL 2019 Draft, reflects on the recent acquisitions of the Raiders

Mayock shared his initial thoughts on running back Isaiah Crowell and linebacker Brandon Marshall.

"Well, when running, we're really happy with Jalen Richard, third down, change of pace, he and DeAndré Washington think they are as good as any group in the league, but we have a bit of a hole in that kind of a track back and Crowell is 26. He is a powerful runner, a big guy who can move heaps and also has some separation ability, so it's a one-year agreement to try it out, we hope he comes ready to go protect our Field marshal You play for Jon, you have to pbad the protection, so there are some different things that runners should keep in mind here Brandon Marshall, we believe that brings a large and veteran physical presence to our linebacking core, so between him and Vontaze [Burfict] We thought that we got bigger, we matured a little more. We have players who have started many games in this league and we hope that will help us bring in some of the younger linebackers. "

He also spoke about the delicate balance between drawing by necessity and the best available player.

Mayock also shed some light on all the scenarios that could arise in No. 4 in general.

"There is a finite amount at four o'clock, right? And for that we have to be prepared, regardless of the scenario, we have to be ready to choose at four o'clock and be enthusiastic about a player. You know, we will not know until the night of the draft, but if we are "stuck at four o'clock," we have to be ready to leave and that is much easier than worrying about all the permutations in 24 and 27 and 35 ".
