Midnight mania! McGregor advances with a message of unity: "It is a world and one for all"

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

The last two days have witnessed an online escalation in which McGregor mocked Khabib's wife and traditional religious attire, Khabib called Conor a rapist, and Conor speculated that perhaps under the thick veil, Khabib had married to a goat. Khabib's manager tweeted that McGregor had not realized he was insulting 1.5 billion Muslims. Conor eventually removed several of his previous tweets and posted this unit message instead, perhaps after Dana White and Company intervened to try to impose something similar to the UFC code of conduct again through the back channels.

I want to keep going, with my admirers of all creeds and all backgrounds.

All faiths challenge us to be our best beings.

It is a world and one for all.

Now we see each other in the octagon.

I want to keep going, with my admirers of all creeds and all backgrounds.
All faiths challenge us to be our best beings.
It's a world and one for all ❤️
Now we see each other in the octagon.

– Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 4, 2019

Whether it's primarily a public relations movement or a genuine acknowledgment that many of your comments crossed a few lines, you can appreciate McGregor's message of unity with each other. It still ended with "I'll see you in the octagon," which makes you wonder why you bothered to announce a retreat if you're going to keep fighting like this. It could well be Michael Scott shouting "I declare bankruptcy" for all it means.

It is also worth noting that Khabib's tweet alleging that Conor is a rapist, based on very real badual badault accusations against the Irish star, is still in force at the time of writing this article.

Insomnia

The same Garry Tonon commented and solved the mystery: it was the bottom of his cup.

Max Holloway remembers being just a scared kid who fights with Dustin Poirier on his UFC debut. It is fascinating that fighters grow to become great and that equally gifted fighters do not. Poirier and Holloway have exceeded all expectations to overcome the adversity of the race.

Tony Ferguson published some self-affirmation. I hope it comes back well.

Unfortunately I must report that Sage Northcutt has resorted to violence.

This was published by a parody account, but it is quite funny to imagine it, nonetheless.

When I saw it, I shuddered.

Amazing rhythm

This sequence of Johnny Walker images is a physical comedy.

Retired UFC fighter Brad Pickett is killing him in boxing with his knuckles.

Random Earth

Tonight I have nothing for this except to see "The Legend of the Island of Cocaine" on Netflix. I have the feeling that many of you would enjoy it.
