Midnight Mania! Jan Blachowicz beefs with Daniel Cormier, who tackles it immediately

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Let it go into history as the fastest fights in light heavyweight history.

After Dom Blike’s championship-worthy knockout victory, Dominique Reyes (check it out!), Is unhappy with some new kingpins. In particular, John Jones suddenly began to question his move to heavyweight in favor of retaking his title, while former winner Daniel Cormier recently discussed the Polish athlete with Ariel Helwani on his podcast.

“Jones beats Blachowicz. Too slow. (Blachowicz is) too slow to beat … because Jones doesn’t realize people talk about him, he’s a good chin,” said Cormier (via MMAJunkie Transcription). “You can kill him. I hit him. Many of us killed him. He can take punches, man. If Jan Blachowicz is out, and he is too slow, Jones will take him apart. If I was still fighting at 205 – or if I was still fighting – and you said, ‘DC, you can fight Jan Blachowicz,’ I would probably fight Jan Blachowicz. no disrespect.”

Blachowicz did not appreciate the retired “DC” comments and offered Cormier an inside look at his skill set.

This is exactly how fighters are sucked back into the mix, but Cormier seems quite determined and satisfied in his current position, far from a respectable potential opportunity.

Fortunately, Blachowicz did not complain for long, promptly dropped the issue and respected himself.

Although Blachowicz has not protected his next title challenger with this short exchange, he may have a future in conflict resolution!

Friends, stop with the jokes. It’s just “crime and unnecessary” and it’s hurting Paulo Costa’s feelings!
