Michelle Obama just gave Donald Trump some Twitter advice


Michelle Obama has made a thinly veiled dig at Donald Trump’s use of Twitter, saying individuals should not “tweet every thought.”

“Most of your initial thoughts are not worthy of the light of day,” the previous first woman instructed a summit of younger leaders hosted by the Obama Foundation.

Ms Obama’s feedback drew laughter from the viewers as she added she wasn’t “talking about anybody in particular.”

The US President is thought for his frequent use of Twitter, and even credited it with serving to ship his election win.

Donald Trump’s least presidential moments thus far…

“Without the tweets, I wouldn’t be here,” Mr Trump beforehand instructed the Financial Times.

Ms Obama described the platform as a “highly effective weapon.

She stated when individuals tweet, they should suppose it over, spell accurately and use good grammar. 

Ms Obama went on to say happening to say “every word you utter has consequences. Words matter at this level.”

She added: “You’re cautious along with your phrases. You’re cautious with the way you debate.

“And I believe while you’re the primary woman or the president, the commander in chief, and you’ve got that voice, and that energy, and that platform, I believe what comes with that’s the accountability to know that each phrase you utter has penalties.”
