Michael B. Jordan shared an emotional tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Jordan honored Bosman in a tribute posted on Instagram on Monday.

Michael B. Jordan, who played Kilmonger in “Black Panther”, paid a touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman on Instagram after Bosman died of colon cancer on August 28 at the age of 43.

Jordan wrote that he would “devote the rest of my days to the way you live” and praised Bosman’s kindness in his Instagram post. Jordan is one of several creators who have posted tributes for Bosman, who has starred in hit films such as “Da 5 Bloods,” “42,” and “Get Up”. “Black Panther” filmmaker Ryan Coogler posted a tribute to Bosman on Sunday, while Jordan Peel, Lena Waithe, and “Avengers” co-star Mark Ruffalo shared the tribute last Friday.

Jordan’s tribute can be read in full below:

I am trying to find the words, but nothing is how I feel. I am reflecting on every moment, every conversation, every laugh, every disagreement, every hug… everything.

I wish we had more time.

Last time we spoke, you said that we are connected forever, and now its truth means more to me than ever before. Almost since the beginning of my career, you paved the way for me with All My Children when I was 16 years old. You showed me how to be better, be the object of respect, and build a legacy. And do you know it or not … I am inspired by your greatness, watching, learning.

I wish we had more time.

Whatever you have given to the world… the legends and heroes you have shown to us… we will live forever. But the thing that hurts me the most is that now I understand how much of a legend and hero you are. Through all of this, you never lost what you loved the most. You cared about your family, your friends, your craft, your soul. You cared about children, community, our culture and humanity. You cared for me You are my elder brother, but I never had a chance to fully tell you this, or to give you your flowers while you were here.

I wish we had more time.

I am now more aware than ever that we are less in tune with those who love and admire us. I am reminded of your honesty, your generosity, your condolences and incredible gifts. I will miss the gift of sharing the space with you in scenes. I am dedicating the rest of my days to living the way you did. Grace, courage and no regrets. “Is this your king?” Yes . She . is! Rest in power brother.
