Metal Gear Solid 5 PS3 players have achieved total nuclear disarm, 5 years after release

In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, there is a catkin that is triggered only when your server receives total nuclear disarmament – that is, no one on your gaming platform or any nuclear weapons developed on their forward operating base not doing. This is a cuttack that needs global collaboration to unlock – and now, five years later, a group of players have managed it.

Reddit user LoneQuacker highlighted the feat, posting cutscene played for PS3 players upon receiving the total discrim. The video, posted by “Steph”, is “brought to you by the anti-NUK gang”, according to its video description.

You can watch the cutscene below, and see if it reveals any feeling of hope in you. “I thought this day would never come,” Kiefer Sutherland already sneaked into Snake’s Cuttack. At this point, neither we.

The PC version of the game has triggered the Cutcasine once before, but this should not have happened, as the condition was not met. The PS4, Xbox One, and PC editions have gone far beyond the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, in terms of sales, with the game’s PS3 version having a much smaller install base than most other versions.

Phantom Pain will eventually be the final Metal Gear solid game from series creator Hideo Kojima. His latest game, Death Stranding, was recently released on PC after its 2019 launch on PS4.
