According to ‘Us Weekly,’ ‘The View‘s latest co-host, Meghan McCain, confirmed her engagement on Thursday’s present.

After a principally quiet engagement, Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech have formally tied the knot.

The bride’s consultant, Teal Cannaday, confirmed to USA TODAY that the couple wed Tuesday on the McCain household lodge in Sedona, Ariz. People was first to report the information.

“#AlmostTime,” McCain posted on Instagram earlier within the afternoon, with a photograph of a pair of slippers embroidered “I” and “do.”  

The nuptials came about three weeks after McCain, 33, the brand new co-host on The View and daughter of Republican U.S. Sen. John McCain, addressed engagement rumors on her present.

Her plan to stroll down the aisle with conservative pundit Domenech “was a secret,” she stated. “I was hoping people wouldn’t find out, but people talk.”

She stated the proposal and engagement weren’t “the most romantic.” Why? “Well, we were at Mayo Clinic and my father had his scan,” she defined. “And we got engaged because we decided to sort of celebrate life and celebrate being alive.”

Sen. McCain revealed in September that medical doctors gave him a “poor prognosis” in his battle with mind most cancers. The senator wrote on Twitter earlier this month that he is “so happy” and “thrilled” to welcome Domenech into the household. He gave his daughter away on the wedding ceremony ceremony.
