(D-California.) Jacob Blake was “proud” when he met him on Tuesday in Kinosa, Wis.

How about a word for your victim, senator? “

Blake’s father says his son is paralyzed from the waist down after the shooting.

Police say a knife was found inside Blake’s car after police shot him several times from behind and claimed that he ignored orders to drop him. His lawyers have claimed that the knife was in his hand. The man filming the shooting said that he did not see the knife.

Kelly was criticized in turn by other Twitter users, but at least one former Congressman, Nan Havarthe (RN.Y.), came to Kelly’s defense.
