While the two starters the Yankees brought to the rotation with injury histories, Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon, have remained healthy, Masahiro Tanaka will miss his first start with the Rakuten Golden Eagles due to a right calf injury. The 32-year-old is expected to miss three weeks.
The Yankees meet the Blue Jays at 1:05 pm, with Jhoulys Chacin scheduled to take the mound. Taillon will launch live batting practice at the Player Development Complex.
