Marvel’s Loki series to premiere on Disney Plus on June 11

LokiThe Tom Hiddleston-starring series about the Asgard god of mischief will land on Disney Plus on June 11, Marvel Studios announced today.

Marvel Studios described the series as a “crime thriller” in December during Disney’s big streaming investor day. Follow Loki as he takes on the Time Variance Authority, also known as TVA, following the events of Avengers Endgame. The first trailer for the series was also released in December, and saw Loki enter a ton of different worlds.

Marvel Studios is in a position where there are new shows all the time. WandaVisionThe first major Disney Plus show from Marvel Studios is coming to an end. The show has been incredibly successful, trending weekly on Twitter and attracting millions of subscribers every week within the US alone, according to Nielsen ratings. Will be followed by Falcon and the winter soldier, reuniting the characters of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in subsequent events Avengers Endgame. That show will debut on March 19.
