Mark Richt has influenced Georgia's appearance in the National Championship Game, and is eager to deliver good wishes to his former team.
On Monday, the former Bulldogs coach used Twitter to write that he is "happy for the players," coaches and the people of Georgia "as Georgia prepares to play in Alabama to decide the national title on Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, this is a good move by Richt, who compiled a 145-51 record as the Georgia coach from 2001 to 2015.
