Man arrested in the Florida Turnpike shooting that was injured 2

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – A Florida man accused of shooting a 37-year-old man and a 17-year-old teenager while driving on the Florida Turnpike say he believed the two were trying to kill him

The Florida Highway Patrol said in a press release that Kwanza Jermaine Donald, 33, was arrested Sunday. They say he fired 13 bullets from his 9mm Beretta while driving on Saturday.

An arrest report says Donald went to the Orange County sheriff's office on Sunday and told detectives that someone was trying to kill him while living and working in Houston. He says they followed him back to Florida.

Officers say the bullets hit the uncle and niece of Miami. They were treated for minor injuries.

Donald is detained without bail. A lawyer is not listed in jail records.

The investigation continues.
