Louis Vuitton wants fashionistas to stop the virus in style.
The New York House reported that the fashion house is launching a luxury face shield, with a plethora of luxury signature protective equipment for $ 961.
Coronovirus-fighting couture made to prevent contact with potential contaminants is constructed with rigid plastic, which is like a visor, and a monogrammed LV elastic head strap. The shield will also transition from dark to light depending on the brightness.
The Most Expensive Coronasious Face Mass Ever?
The face masks and PPE did not take long to become a fashion statement and status symbol after the virus surfaced widely in March. LV is one of the latest designers to take PPE and make it a luxury.
The Italian label Fendi sells an anti-pollution face mask worn by stars such as Bella Hadid, while Gucci introduced a monogrammed print of its own. And in August Burberry said it would start selling a $ 120 face mask in its plaid print, donating 20% for coronovirus relief. The $ 4,000 gold face mask, meanwhile, was custom-made for a man in India.

Many designers, such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Armani and Christian Siriano, introduced PPE in March and April amid shortcomings across the country.
While face masks provide a safe way to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says about the face shield that their “effectiveness is unknown at this time.”
