Chelsea: Star defender Thiago Silva returned to training on Tuesday afternoon, recovering from the thigh injury he suffered against Tottenham. Time will tell if it starts, but it could be a huge boost for the Blues, who have been playing well on defense. Chelsea haven’t conceded a goal in 247 minutes, conceding just two in their last nine games.

Liverpool: The Reds just got a 2-0 win over Sheffield United, but it still wasn’t that impressive. All eyes will be on whether star goalkeeper Alisson plays, and is expected to do so. The Brazilian sadly lost his father last week after he drowned while swimming. Alisson was given Sunday off for compassionate reasons and is expected to be available, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said Tuesday. Fabinho is also expected to be available after a muscle injury knocked him out for four games. Diogo Jota was also expected to be on the team for the first time since Dec. 9 after his knee injury, but he has an illness and has been ruled out.

Pulisic starts, delivers and the Blues hit a solid tie on the road. Choose: Liverpool 1, Chelsea 1
