LeBron James and the Cavs follow the Celtics in the Eastern Conference final series 2-0, but they host Boston in Cleveland on Saturday night with the chance to find its place once more. Follow along with live updates during the game and jump to the comments to ask questions to the NBA reporter, Tim Bontemps.

No team has come back from falling down 3-0 in NBA history in a best-of-seven series. To avoid that, the Cavs need to win tonight.

• These Celtics are young, athletic and relentless, and have a 2-0 increase. But they've also lost 4 out of 5 on the road this postseason.

• LeBron James has never been behind 3-0 in a playoff series in the Eastern Conference. Do not count the King yet.

After LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs with a victory over the Indiana Pacers in seven games, I wrote that I get this team back from the Cavs for the NBA finals. it could be the greatest achievement of his career.

At that time, some made fun of that claim, since James has done many notable things in his career: winning three titles, including the first for the city of Cleveland in more than half a century; four most valuable player awards; he never hurt himself while playing more minutes and at a higher level than anyone in the league in the last 15 seasons.

But with Cleveland losing 2-0 to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals as the series returns to Northeast Ohio for Game 3 on Saturday night, I have the feeling that more people will begin to change my way.

The task before James is discouraging. Besides Kevin Love, he does not have much help at the moment. Kyle Korver can be attacked defensively. Tristan Thompson can be attacked offensively. J.R. Smith has gone from the wildest to the most horrible in the playoffs, with horrible wins much more often. Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson have been disasters. Larry Nance has lagged behind Thompson in the rotation. George Hill disappears intermittently.

Meanwhile, the Celtics keep coming with relentless energy and waves of young and athletic players, not to mention Al Horford, who is having the best two-month stretch of what has already been an impressive season. Anchoring this Boston team in the postseason. Young players like rookie Jayson Tatum and sophomore Jaylen Brown grow up every day, while Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart have had more good days than bad days.

However, all this does not mean that Cleveland has ended, not yet, anyway. Count James at your own risk. The Celtics are 9-0 at home and 1-4 away from home in these playoffs. Boston took seven games to beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round before playing four straight coin tossing games in Games 2 to 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Boston could easily have lost all four; instead, they won three out of four (largely because Philadelphia repeatedly shot itself in the foot).

James is able to change this situation, and return to his eighth consecutive Final, and the Cavaliers to a fourth consecutive straight. However, doing so will require winning tonight.

No team has returned from falling 3-0 in NBA history in a best-of-seven series. Even for James, that's asking too much.

No, the Cavaliers will have to win these two games in Cleveland if they want to give themselves a chance. They will have their opportunity in the first in a few hours.
