Life on Earth probably began in meteorite craters

A new study shows the script largely fluctuating on meteorite impacts. While an ancient effect is usually for the extinction event that killed the dinosaurs, scientists are now beginning to suspect that earlier effects might have caused life on Earth to jump in the first place.
