Nirberg on Monday reported 162,108 total COVID-19 cases and 1,980 total deaths in Buxar County, with an increase of 2,082 new cases. Today there were thirteen new deaths.

The mayor says that some of Sunday’s cases were included in Monday’s numbers due to the backlog.

The 7-day moving average cases are 1,722.

City officials also reported that 1,402 patients are hospitalized, 409 are in intensive care unit and 263 are on ventilator. 13% staffed beds are available and 51% ventilators are available.
