Laura Ingraham Wins 10 p.m. Timeslot on Debut Night

Laura Ingraham‘s new 10 p.m. Fox News show came in first for the hour, drawing 3.27 million total viewers and 622,000 in the A25-54 demo. While the viewer lead was commanding (+26 percent over MSNBC’s The Last Word, and a +145 percent lead over CNN Tonight) Ingraham’s edge in the demo over Lawrence O’Donnell was by just 10,000 viewers, or +1.6 percent.

Ingraham also lost viewers from her lead-in of Sean Hannity. As for FNC’s other debut last night, Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream averaged 1,865,000 Total Viewers and 401,000 in the demo. That’s up from last Monday when a re-air of Tucker Carlson Tonight averaged 1,420,000 Total Viewers and 361,000 in the demo.

But the pivot away from Fox’s opinion shows back to a news program at 11 p.m. showed a -75 percent drop in total viewers, and a loss of -55 percent in the demo. For comparison, the viewer drop-off last Monday (from Fox News Tonight at 10 p.m. to the Carlson re-air at 11 p.m.) was -41 percent in viewers and -34 percent in the demo.
