Two concerts of Latvian chamber music will sound in mid-March in Reykjavik, Iceland
The first of these will take place on March 16 In the Icelandic Academy of Arts, when a pianist, JVLMA lecturer Dzintra Erliha will give a solo concert-lecture dedicated to the Latvian composers for piano music. The concert will feature the piano works of Janis Ivanovs, Lucia Garusta, Aivars Kalējs, Peter Vasks and Santas Bush, as well as insights on both the composer's creative biographies and their characterization of the compositional characters. The Concert Hall is supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation.

On March 17th, one of the most prominent concerts of the Reykjavik Chamber Music Concert Hall Hannesarholt will feature a chamber music concert dedicated to Latvia's centenary, which Dzintra Erliha will perform in a duet with Emma Bandenieci (Canada / Latvia), a young, promising celloist. , whose cello voice has also captured a collective of musicians such as Kremerata Baltica and Sinfonietta Rīga. This program includes the pieces of Latvian composers for both piano solo and duel with cello. But in April, the pianist Dzintra Erliha will go on a concert tour to Australia to present the country's centenary with the outstanding soprano Maija Kovaļevsku concerts in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, as well as presenting the new album "With Heart's Heat", from which the proceeds from the sale will be devoted to charity.
