Lamborghini is ready to unveil the Urus, which claims to be the fastest SUV to date, at its recently expanded factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, later today (December 4, 2017). The first Lamborghini SUV since LM002 (1986-1993), the Urus is touted to become its best-selling model after it goes on sale worldwide next year, and is expected to almost double its overall volumes. Let's take a look at what we know so far about the expected 'Super SUV & # 39; of Lambo.

True to its concept
The Italian manufacturer of features has shown some of the design details and has published technical information of the production specification machine in a series of videos and images. However, the Internet took a look at the Urus last month when it accidentally leaked an image of the long-awaited SUV in one of the official videos (presumably due to human error) released by the company. The front of the vehicle indicates a design that closely resembles the concept revealed in 2012. The company says that the design of Urus will be "pure Lamborghini" and that the appearance has evolved considerably since the concept was revealed in 2015.
More recently, official videos revealed the thin backlight strip of Urus, sporting a design similar to the Asterion: the Lamborghini hybrid supercar.

The world's fastest SUV
The Urus range will feature the brand's first plug-in hybrid powertrain around 650hp and almost 850Nm of torque and will also be the only hybrid in the Lamborghini lineup (until it arrives) a plug-in hybrid Hurricane in 2022). The Urus will also receive a V8 variant of 4.0 liters and double turbo. The company has chosen not to use a naturally aspirated powertrain for its SUV because it believes that SUVs need to have a huge torque.

High-tech DNA
Lamborghini had recently released several videos to demonstrate the dynamic capabilities of the Urus. The images revealed that the Urus has an active 48V anti-theft suspension technology. But the technology does not end there. The & # 39; Super SUV & # 39; is configured to obtain a four-wheel steering system such as the Aventador S and a traction control system with six configurations: Strada (road), Sport, Corsa (track), Sabbia (sand), Terra (dirt), and Neve (snow).

Arrives in India in 2018
Lamborghini quickly launches its cars in India after its world debut and the Urus will not be different. Expect the Urus to go on sale in our country in the latter part of 2018. The Lambo SUV will come with a very high price. Expect it to cost in the region of Rs 5 crore (estimated, ex showroom).
