Lady Gaga’s dogs recovered safely after dog walker shot

Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, who were robbed by thieves who allegedly shot and injured the dog walker, were recovered unharmed, Los Angeles police said Friday.

A woman brought the dogs to the LAPD Olympic Community Police Station northwest of downtown around 6 p.m., said Capt.Jonathan Tippett, commander of the elite homicide and robbery division.

Lady Gaga’s representative and detectives went to the station and confirmed it was the dogs. The singer is currently in Rome to shoot a movie.

The woman who left the dogs appears “not to be involved in and not associated” with the attack Wednesday night, Tippett said. It was not immediately clear how he obtained the dogs.

The dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot once while walking three of the singer’s dogs in Hollywood. The video showed a white sedan approaching and two men jumping. They fought the dog walker before one drew a gun and fired a single shot before running off with two of the dogs.

The dog walker can be heard in the video saying that he had been shot in the chest. Tippett said he is expected to survive his injuries.

Lady Gaga repeated her offer of a $ 500,000 reward on Friday for the return of her dogs, whose names are Koji and Gustav, without asking questions.

“I still love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You are always a hero,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
