Labor Day turns bloody on NJ Beach, when police react to reports of two people being stabbed


Officials said two suspects are in custody for stabbing New Jersey Beach.

Police responded to Jenkinson’s Beach at Point Pleasure Beach around 3:30 p.m. Pleasant Beach Police Chief Joseph Michigan said officers found the two victims, who were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

The new Jerseys man closed the procession in Washington State, Municipalities Sayy.

Officials said about 300 boardwalks had fought before being stabbed. In a video posted online, lifeguards and police officers are seen fleeing the razed area with a beach patrol car.

Point Pleasant Beach Mayor Paul Kanitra praised lifeguards for their quick response and first aid teams for their quick response.

Kanitra said only one suspect was in custody, while police said two.

Kanitra told NJ Advance Media at 4:40 pm that the situation was “completely under control” and there was no danger to the public.
