Kelly Clarkson says life has become a ‘little dumpster’ since she filed for divorce.

In June, the singer and talk show host filed for divorce from her husband of almost seven years, Brandon Blackstock.
She recently spoke to “Today” about how things are going.

“I mean it’s no secret that my life has been a little dumper,” Clarkson said. “Personally, it’s been a bit harder than the last few months.”

He said, “I am talking to friends who have come through divorce.” “I don’t know how people pass without some sort of outlet because it’s the worst thing for everyone involved.”

Clarkson cited an “irreparable difference” in her divorce filing from Blackstock, a music manager with whom she shares two young children, River Rose and Remington Alexander.

Clarkson and Blackstock remain publicly cordial and thanked this year when they won Best Entertainment Talk Show Host Day’s Emmy for the first season of “The Kelly Clarkson Show”.

She reported that “today” she is channeling her feelings into her new album, scheduled to be released next year, which she described as “possibly the most personal I’ve ever released.”

“And the whole record is basically every emotion you experience from the beginning of a relationship to the end of what it is right now or where it is, and it’s very therapeutic to me,” Clarkson said.

Cowell was a judge on “American Idol”, the show made Clarkson famous in 2002 after becoming its first winner.
