"Big Bang" star Kayley Cuoco has explained why her first marriage to former tennis player Ryan Sweeting did not work.
Making the cover of the May edition of Cosmopolitan, the television star revealed new details about her relationship with her ex-husband saying that Sweeting, "completely changed" throughout their relationship and almost two years of marriage .
"I honestly thought I would not get married again, my ex-ruined that word for me," admitted Cuoco, who is now engaged to professional equestrian Karl Cook. "I married someone the first time they changed completely, the person I ended up with was not the person I originally met, and that was not my fault, that was theirs."

Cuoco and Sweeting got engaged in September 2013 after a short three months of courtship and married shortly after. But their marriage did not last long. The couple separated in 2016 and filed irreconcilable differences according to court documents obtained by People.
But almost two years after finishing her first marriage, the "Big Bang" star has found love again and has been enthusiastic about her "perfect match".
"I knew how much I had to give and how much I wanted to receive, I knew I had to be patient … I had to go through many things, but it took me to Karl," he said.
In addition to talking about love, the 32-year-old girl also opened up to be the second best-paid woman on television in the middle of the #MeeToo movement.
"I spent my entire 20 years in this program," explained Cuoco. "I did not have to fight for a salary … Knowing what it feels like [to be paid as an equal] I will always take that position for myself."
