BTS’s new song “Dynamite” has more success in the US than its previous single. In a special clip for E! News, Justin Bieber gave a voice explaining why the BTS song caught the attention of American listeners.
Some records of BTS broken by ‘dynamite’
“Dynamite” is BTS’s first song sung entirely in English and is a disco-pop track. When the song’s music video premiered on YouTube, it garnered the largest YouTube premiere of all time with 3 million concurrent viewers. Music Video held the record for most viewed videos within its first 24 hours after reaching 101.1 million views.
On Spotify, “Dynamite” had its biggest debut of 2020 and debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s daily Global Top 50 chart with 7,778,950 streams. The song also achieved 100 number 1s on iTunes within 8 hours. This made BTS the fastest performer to reach 100 iTunes No. 1s.
The most notable achievement has been Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Wei and Jungkook arriving with “Dynamite”, debuting at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart so far.

Why Justin Bieber made BTS songs so popular
For e! News, Bieber heard a clip about the growing success of BTS with “Dynamite”.
“If anyone knows how to make history, it’s BTS,” Bieber began. “The K-pop group is breaking records in the global music industry and 2020 is taking shape as a huge year … BTS continues a record-breaking streak with the release of their first English single, ‘Dynamite’.” ”
Bieber recorded the list of what BTS accomplished with the song, including YouTube records and their Hot 100 rankings. Most importantly, he referenced the xenophobia that BTS faced with its Korean single when it came to radio promotion.
“Dynamite” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making BTS the first All-South Korean group to top the charts. So what sets this song apart from their other hit films? The group’s Korean Unlike language songs, American radio stations like ‘Boy with Love’ and ‘On’ are giving too much time to ‘Dynamite’, ” Bieber said.
He continued, “Historically, non-English songs have had a hard time playing radio, and as a result, they rarely see the top of the Billboard charts.”
Fans can look forward to more Korean-language songs
Bieber ended the video with a BTS future song release.
“But fans should not expect BTS to make an English album anymore, as they have hit number 1 in the US. They have made it clear that the Korean language is a part of their art and identity,” he said. “The group knows they don’t have to change to reach fans.”
BTS members have also assured fans that their next songs will be as good as “Dynamite”. On September 2, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment held a press conference to celebrate the success of the single.
“In the future, I hope you keep your eyes on us to achieve your next goal. We really like our song this time, but we also really like our next song, ”Jimin told the media at the press conference. “I hope you look forward to it.”
