George Clooney and Julia Roberts are heading to Australia.
No, the actors won’t be reprising their roles as Danny and Tess Ocean for another heist movie, but fans of the on-screen tug-and-go couple should get excited about Roberts and Clooney’s new rom-com, “Ticket to Paradise. , “” Reportedly hitting theaters next year.
Distributed by Universal Pictures, the film is scheduled to be released on September 30, 2022, according to Variety.
Meanwhile, Clooney and Grant Heslov are said to be producing production under the banner of actor Smokehouse Pictures, for which the Oscar winner previously directed “The Midnight Sky.”

Additionally, the outlet reported Tuesday that “Ticket to Paradise” is expected to begin filming later this year and old friends will make Queensland, Australia their home during production.
While filming on the land of Australia, the production will also enjoy generous tax incentives from the Australian federal government and Screen Queensland’s production pull strategy.
The film will be directed by “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again” director Ol Parker and is co-written with Daniel Pipski, according to the report.
The story centers on the “Money Monster” co-stars as two exes who find themselves on a shared mission to prevent their crush daughter from repeating her past mistakes.
