Jon Jones Criticizes UFC Vegas 20 Heavyweights; Francis Ngannou responds
Jon Jones took to Twitter to hit a couple of guys who could potentially be future opponents when he moves to heavyweight.
The UFC Vegas 20 main event featured top-ranked heavyweights Jairzinho Rozenstruik against Ciryl Gane. Although Gane dominated the fight, hosting a punching clinic, the fight didn’t provide the fireworks most people expected from the two heavyweights … including Jones.
Jones took to Twitter to give his take on the fight, saying, “These guys better get used to picking up the pace, this whole standing thing is not going to fly when Dad gets home.”

While Jones is expected to face the winner of the next fight between UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and challenger Francis Ngannou, that will be his debut in the promotion’s heaviest division.
He will make the switch from light heavyweight after vacating the belt last year and announcing his intention to go after the heavyweight title.
Although Jones is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time, if not the greatest, Ngannou was offended by his Tweet.
Ngannou responded to Jones with her own social media post, saying, “Is Dad coming home?” followed by several laughing emojis.
He certainly seems to doubt that Jones acts as if he already owns the division.
Ngannou will get his shot at Miocic and the heavyweight title when the two meet in the main event of UFC 260 on March 26 in Las Vegas.
