Joe Giudice's deportation appeal has been denied, leaving his fate in the United States in limbo.
A representative of the Executive Office of Immigration Review told page six on Thursday that "the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed the appeal of Giuseppe Giudice's case on April 11, 2019. In dismissing the case, the BIA confirmed the decision of removal of the immigration judge on October 10, 2018. "
However, Joe has the option to appeal the decision.
"If the respondent disagrees with the final decision of the BIA, the defendant may file an appeal (" petition for review ") with the appeals court of the corresponding federal circuit," the representative added.
The Giudice family is "extremely disappointed" with the decision, family lawyer James J. Leonard told us on Thursday.
"We have filed a suspension before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and we will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and to reunite him with his wife and four daughters," he said.
Joe, 46, filed his appeal in November after being ordered deported the previous month after his 41-month prison sentence on fraud charges.
Teresa's husband has been in federal custody since March 14, when he was released from prison.
The stars of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" have been married since 1999 and share four daughters: Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. Teresa, 46, revealed at the most recent meeting from "RHONJ" that she would divorce Joe if a judge ordered her to return to Italy.
But we are told that he is not yet presenting any document, as Leonard says, "the appeals have not ended."
Joe's lawyer did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
