Jennifer Hudson’s Fiancé Releases Statement After Split News


Jennifer Hudson‘s ex-fiance, David Otunga, has launched his personal badertion following information that the pair ended their ten-year relationship.

PEOPLE solely confirmed on Thursday that Hudson, 36, and Otunga, 37,  have been within the “process of ending their relationship for a number of months,” in accordance with an announcement from the singer’s rep.

“Today, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son [8-year-old David Daniel Otunga Jr.],” the badertion concluded.

Otunga’s legal professional, Tracy M. Rizzo, launched an announcement to PEOPLE on behalf of the previous professional wrestler following the break up information accusing the Oscar winner of getting the protecting order to cease him from getting major custody of their son.
