Back in July, we shared that Jeep had the V-8 Wrangler 392 concept for production. Today, the Jeep made it clear.
The company posted a video on Instagram today showing the distinctive hump of the V-8 towards the horizon. The caption, simply, stated “Production model shown. Available 2021.”

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 concept, revealed this summer, with 450 horsepower and a 0-60 time in five seconds. Whether or not those numbers translate directly into the final production car, expect it to be a high-speed Jeep that retains the trail-ready capability of the rest of the modern Wrangler line.
It will be the first V-8 powered major-line Jeep since 1981. If considered an official Instagram teaser, it should be available early next year.
