Jamie Lynn Spears is officially the mother of two.
The actress and singer welcomed her second son (and first with her husband Jamie Watson), her daughter Ivey Joan Watson, on Wednesday, April 11 at 10:02 a.m. Your representative confirms PEOPLE exclusively.
Ivey was born in Covington, Louisiana, weighing 7 lbs., 8 oz. She measured 19½ inches long.
"We are more than happy to welcome this beautiful baby to our family!" Spears tells PEOPLE, and adds Ivey's name: "Her middle name, Joan, is honoring my aunt Sandra, who died 10 years ago from ovarian cancer, she was the most graceful woman I've ever met." Spears, 27, announced that she and Watson would be adding their family in December, sharing a sweet family photo of the trio that includes her 9 and a half year old daughter, Maddie Briann.
"It seems we're starting 2018 with another big milestone … so happy to announce that Maddie is FINALLY going to be a big sister," said the star. "2017 was filled with some of the biggest challenges of my life, as well as some of the greatest blessings, so I decided to stay calm this year to focus on becoming truly my best self as a person and as an artist."
He continued, "During that time, I continued to work on my music and telling my story, which has created some of my most honest work and I hope [CAN’T] to share it with you very soon. personal level as a professional. "

In 2017, the daughter of country musician, Maddie, was involved in an ATV accident on Super Bowl Sunday. The vehicle he was driving overturned in a pond at the Watson and Spears properties in Louisiana, and Maddie was submerged underwater for several minutes.
Help arrived quickly and freed the girl from the seatbelt and the safety net after Spears, Watson and others could not. Maddie woke up and was able to return home from the hospital less than a week later.

Relatives, including Aunt Britney, asked for prayers on social media and elsewhere after the incident, and Maddie was soon able to fully recover, celebrating her birthday at a pool party four months later with very special guests.
"My baby is 9 years old, and more than ever we realize how precious each day is, so we have to thank these 2 HEROS 🙏🏻 John and Victoria are the first to respond, they literally saved Maddie's life, and they could celebrate another year of her life with us last weekend! "Spears said in a June photo of the two with the birthday girl.

"But for me, I think having children is also timely, I know they always say:" There is not a good time to have a child, you know, it only has babies ", said Spears.
"But right now I think it may be a bit selfish to have a child, I'm taking care of it," he continued. "I want to be able to do the same as what I did with Maddie, really be a mom for a while and have that time to focus on my next child, but, yes, we want more babies, of course."
"I've wanted to have children since the day we got married," said Watson, 35, who added that he and his wife would like to have "a group" of children and watch with a smile, "The time is right, it's always something with his career [and] I'm very busy, too, there's no good time to have a child. "
