And like many parents during the pandemic, James Corden has revealed that he has dedicated himself to stealing a quiet moment alone by hiding in the bathroom.
The 42-year-old Late Late Show host also said that he would go to Weight Watchers with his mother when he was just 11 years old while speaking to Oprah Winfrey for a WW webinar.

Reflecting on how life has changed in the past 12 months and how it has affected his home life in Los Angeles, James said he has been known to work in the bathroom.
According to The Mirror, he said: ‘My new hobby in the pandemic is hiding in the bathroom to read and write emails. I say, ‘I’m just going to the bathroom, kids’ and I could be there for 40 minutes reading and writing emails.
“It is a miracle that my wife did not kill me or leave me during this time. Be honest. Who would want to walk a mile in your shoes? She keeps our whole family together. ‘
James and his wife Julia Carey are parents to their three children: Max, 10, Carey, six, and Charlotte, three.

Elsewhere in the interview, James reflected on his weight and revealed that he started going to Weight Watchers as a child and lived in High Wycombe, England.
He said, ‘I used to go with my mother to Weight Watchers when I was 11 or 12 and it’s the only thing that has worked for my mother.’
James added that his family is still participating in the new WW and does a ‘Zoom weigh-in’ every three weeks to celebrate if any of them have lost weight.
The star, who recently revealed that she has lost more than one stone in five weeks, also said she would like to “experience a day under 200 pounds.”

James told Oprah: ‘When I met my wife I weighed 280 pounds (20). When I started this in WW I weighed 236 pounds and now I weigh 220 pounds. I would like to experience a day of less than 200 pounds. I’m really going to try to stick with this. ‘
To achieve this goal, James said he needs to ‘change his relationship’ with food, and said that he sometimes struggles when his children want things he cannot eat.
The TV host explained how they went to eat pizza recently and was discouraged about not being able to eat it, however, he came up with a clever solution.
James said he and Julia ended up making a chickpea pizza that doesn’t have a lot of cheese in it and it ended up being delicious and left him feeling ‘smug’.
And awaiting the Golden Globes on Sunday, where he is nominated for best performance in a musical or comedy, James said he keeps his awards in a closet.

James added that he’s not sure it’s ‘good’ to see his compliments all the time, as he thinks people can ‘peel off’ if they think they are ‘more types’ than they are.
James joins fellow stars DJ Khaled and Robbie Williams to represent the WW brand and use the platform to get fit and change their lives.
The television star, who first burst onto television screens in the scripted series Fat Friends in 2000, said: ‘Weight is not the issue, it is wellness that I am ready to tackle. I will take this year and work to be healthy …
“ If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that taking care of yourself has to be a priority. I called WW because I absolutely believe they have the tools to help me make this change. ‘
James’ comments on life locked up and his weight come after his candid interview with the 36-year-old Duke of Sussex, which aired days before the royal show to chat with the queen of American television: Oprah Winfrey .
In the segment that was filmed for James’ The Late Late Show, Harry and the comedian are seen chatting in a convertible bus, rapping to the Fresh Prince of Bell Air tune and taking a military-style assault course.
