JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s navy is holding its largest-ever air drill with pilots from eight international locations simulating fight eventualities.
It stated on Thursday that Germany, India and France are collaborating for the primary time within the two-week drill codenamed “Blue Flag.” The train is held each two years.

The drill comes as Israel faces challenges from neighboring Syria the place the Iran-backed Shiite Lebanese militant group Hezbollah is combating alongside authorities forces.
Israel fears its archenemy Iran will set up a Shiite “corridor” on its doorstep, with land hyperlinks from Iran to Lebanon, permitting for the motion of militants and weapons throughout the area.
