The returning Stephanie McMahon has confirmed Kurt Angle will lead Team Raw against Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series.

Raw’s commissioner scalded her general manager for allowing his superstars to be put under siege by her brother Shane McMahon.

SmackDown’s commissioner Shane tricked Kurt last week before his performers invaded Raw and ambushed the red brand’s talents.

According to pwinsider.com , Angle – who made a triumphant return to action at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs – will be joined by four huge names.

WWE hopes to team the Hall of Famer with Roman Reigns, who is currently sidelined with a virus, which is expected to keep him out of the forthcoming UK tour.

The Olympic Gold medallist is also rumoured to be joined by a former Universal Champion, the Irishman Finn Balor, in his non-Demon King persona.

Samoa Joe – who returned to the ring last night for the first time since SummerSlam and crushed Apollo Crews – is also thought to be part of the squad.

Finally the newly-turned face Braun Strowman, aka the Monster Among Men, who also made a shock return on Raw, will be unleashed.

The SmackDown Live team is expected to be led by Shane himself, with whom Angle has a storied rivalry, including an iconic street fight battle.

The pair waged one of the best matches of their respective careers at King of the Ring in 2001, when Shane proved he belonged as a competitor, but lost to Kurt.

Thirteen-time world champion Randy Orton has already earned a place on Team SmackDown after The Viper defeated Sami Zayn last week.

Shane O’Mac is supposedly set to also call upon AJ Styles, who is being positioned as the next challenger to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

The Phenomenal One could be joined by his former New Japan Pro Wrestling rival Shinsuke Nakamura, who many think he may face at WrestleMania.

Finally the former NXT Champion, Bobby Roode, is expected to be a glorious addition to the blue unit’s ranks.

The bout will be a traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match, with the added stipulation that if Team Raw loses, Kurt Angle will be fired as Raw general manager.

Survivor Series will take place on November 19, 2017 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
