LONDON – The extradition hearing for the Indian tycoon Vijay Mallya is scheduled to start in a London court.
The hearing scheduled to begin Monday at the Magistrates Court in Westminster is expected to last approximately eight days and lead to a verdict on whether he will be sent back to India or allowed to remain in Britain.
Wanted by India for money laundering charges related to the demise of several of its high-profile businesses, including an airline.
