India blocks dozens of Chinese apps, including TikTok, after Border Clash

NEW DELHI: India banned dozens of China’s largest mobile apps, including TikTok, in what it called a step to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country’s cyberspace.

The move, announced Monday night, comes after a recent deadly clash between Indian and Chinese security forces near a disputed border in the Himalayas that left 20 Indian soldiers dead.
