But a recent survey may have made a new discovery about what your risk of catching coronovirus may be: your height. The report out of the University of Manchester, which has not yet been peer reviewed, comes from a survey of 2,000 people in the US and UK. The team behind the survey, which are based in the UK, US and Norway, say their findings give more fodder to the notion that coronavirus can spread through the air. The droplets — which are larger and heavier than aerosolized particles — quickly fall to the ground instead of swinging in the air. Therefore, the researchers note, these drops may not account for the high infection rate of tall people, Wire Tells. According to the findings, the only explanation is that aerosolized particles living in the air are responsible for spreading novel coronaviruses that last longer than the average person.
