A major leak from Nintendo has revealed several upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite games. Unfortunately, if you are looking for new Zelda, Mario, or Metroid games, this new leak will leave you disappointed. Not only are the four games from outside developers and publishers, but none of them are new releases, but ports. That being said, there are some notable ports.
The leak stems from Taiwan’s Digital Games Rating Committee, which frequently rates games before they are released before they are announced or revealed, or in other words, filters them. Recently, Taiwan’s rating agency rated Chronicles of The Great Ace Attorney not only for Nintendo Switch, but also for PS4 and PC. At press time, Capcom hasn’t announced a resurgence of the 3DS game pair, but we did learn about this collection in a big Capcom leak last year. This rating not only seemingly verifies the leak, but suggests that the collection will be released sooner rather than later.
The leaderboard has also rated Tales from the Borderlands for Switch. This month, 2K announced that it was relaunching the Borderlands game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC after it was pulled from stores a couple of years ago. At the time, he didn’t say anything about a Switch version, but it looks like it’s coming to the Nintendo platform too.
However, the leaks did not end here. The leaderboard also rated Secret neighbor for Nintendo Switch, a spin-off of the popular thriller Hello neighbor who returned in 2019. And also rated Snowrunner for Switch, which debuted last year to a strong reception.
Tales from the Borderlands
On: Tales from the Borderlands is a five-part episodic adventure from Telltale Games based on the Borderlands world, and more specifically, set after the events of border territories 2. From episode one to episode five, it was released between 2014 and 2015.
Chronicles of The Great Ace Attorney
On: Chronicles of The Great Ace Attorney is a collection of The great ace lawyer Y The great lawyer ace 2, two Nintendo 3DS games that were released in 2015 and 2017, respectively, through Capcom.
On: Secret neighbor is presented as a social horror game and the official multiplayer experience of Hello neighbor. Developed by Hologryph and Eerie Guest Studios and published by TinyBuild, it was released in 2019.
On: Snowrunner is an off-road simulator that was released last year via developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Home Interactive.
At the time of publication, none of these games have been officially announced for the Switch and Switch Lite. With that said, these ratings not only spoil these surprises, but suggest that each of these games will launch on the Switch and Switch Lite sooner rather than later.
At this time, the Taiwan Digital Games Classification Committee and Nintendo have not commented on any of the above information, nor is any other official party implicated. If this changes, we will make sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, for more coverage on all things Nintendo and Nintendo Switch, click here or check out the relevant links below:
