The free S! NG makes it easy to create NFT on your iPhone or iPad (and soon on Mac).
With the market in its infancy, various platforms are beginning to emerge for packaging, selling, and promoting NFT releases. Next, we take a look at a new platform called S! NG that makes it easy for anyone to create, catalog and soon sell any idea as NFT from their iPhone.
What is an NFT? You have probably at least found out about the trend with NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens). NFTs essentially act as a property receipt for a digital artwork or other digital asset. The transaction and the receipt record go through cryptocurrency platforms, usually the Ethereum blockchain for transactions that we have seen so far.
Sotheby’s sold its first digital artwork by artist Beeple as NFT for a record $ 69 million, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey sold his first tweet for $ 2.9 million, while the music industry has also embraced the trend of selling packaged music releases. with digital art and other benefits, such as concert tickets: Kings of Leon, Grimes and Elon musk, to name a few.
Create NFT on iPhone or iPad
Create an NFT with the S! NG is as easy as uploading content to any social media app you’ve ever used.
Once you’ve downloaded the app and created an account, you can simply upload any file from your iPhone or iCloud Drive to begin the process of creating an NFT that includes audio, videos, and images. And you don’t need an Ethereum wallet set up yet to get started and create NFT.
For the example above, I have created an NFT for the official album art of an upcoming music project that I am releasing. I simply selected the artwork from my iCloud drive (by pulling the artwork that I had saved to my iCloud desktop folder from my desktop), filled in some quick information along with a title, and voila.
For NFTs with multiple taxpayers, the app makes it easy to clearly divide property by registering multiple owners within the “Collaborators ” tab by email.
The app automatically starts creating an NFT from what you uploaded, backs it up to the blockchain, and stores it in your in-app catalog (as shown in the image above). Then you can safely share and track activity from your catalog.
The S! NG is one of the first platforms I have used that makes it really easy for anyone inside an iPhone to quickly and easily create and share NFTs even for those without an Ethereum wallet or cryptocurrency knowledge. The app is marketed not only as a way to create NFTs that could eventually sell as commercial releases, but also as the easiest way for artists to copyright and catalog their ideas.
That strategy is also the reason why the S! NG has incorporated the ability to log new ideas directly into the app. Besides selecting files on your iPhone and iCloud Drive, you can take photos or record audio and video right in the app.
Currently, there are no editing functions for the media that is recorded within the application, so you are limited to simply taking a photo or video with the built-in camera tools or recording a piece of audio. It works for recording quick ideas, but a few proper editing features could make it a great tool for digital artists and musicians developing ideas.
How to sell your NFTs
In addition to plans to launch its own market in the coming weeks, the S! NG will support OpenSea API integration, allowing any user who creates NFTs in the application to easily connect to their OpenSea account to sell them.
In addition to OpenSea, when S! NG launches its own marketplace, it will feature a curated NFT selection of high-profile artists. He told us that the market will have zero gas rates (the company plans to eventually sell storage for those with large catalogs), something that should be quite attractive for those selected for the exclusive market, as these rates are usually quite high in other markets.
The S! NG is endorsed by several notable musicians and artists, including Canadian band leader Our Lady Peace, who is serving as Product Director and will be one of the first to release a new single in the platform’s upcoming market.
You can download the S! NG free on iPhone or iPad.
