In this last look at the next fourth season of The maid’s tale, we see Gilead teetering on the brink of civil war at last, and June (Elisabeth Moss) is leading the charge. She has the support of a growing rebel army and, it seems, the rest of the world is finally joining her cause.
Third season I had to do some convoluted For June’s decision to stay in Gilead to make any sense, we hope the long-awaited rebellion will pay off. (Don’t forget, there is at least one more season to go after this.) Check out the new trailer below.
The official synopsis is predictably vague: “June (Elisabeth Moss) fights back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges. Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her dearest relationships. ”
In addition to dropping that short sneak peek, Hulu announced today that the 10-episode fourth season will premiere on April 28 with its first three episodes, with new installments arriving weekly thereafter. Along with Moss, The maid’s tale also stars Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, OT Fagbenle (who will eventually appear in Marvel Black widow), Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford and Sam Jaeger.
