The Grisley video captures the moment an unidentified gunman shot and killed a 17-year-old boy who attempted to flee during a gun fight.
The New York Police Department released surveillance footage of the shooting on Sunday in which Kether Werts died on Thursday.
The incident occurred just before 5 pm outside 1705 Hoe Avenue in the Crotana neighborhood of the Bronx.
The footage shows two men wearing black hoodies and white-faced masks who engage with a group of teenagers on the street.
It is not clear what has been said, but one of the teenagers crosses the street to find men.
Then, the group of teenagers started leaving the area at the apparent start of the firing.
Some boys manage to escape, but Werts appears to be stuck between two vehicles as a gunman chases him. The teenager goes to the ground and attempts to crawl.

New York City experienced a fluctuation in gun violence this summer that may continue into the fall.

This is after several shooting incidents and related deaths that occurred on the Labor Day weekend in the Big Apple.
At least 10 people were shot, including a 62-year-old Bronx resident who was killed while walking his dogs outside his home. In another example, a six-year-old boy, his mother and three others were seen at a Caribbean j’Ouart festival on a pre-dawn morning.
All of those victims were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
