GTA Online's End of the World Blows takes players to Mount Chilliad (with Jetpacks)

Packages of jet planes, flying cars, underwater cars and a trip to the mysterious Mount Chilliad: all that and more seems to be part of The Doomsday Heist a surprise "new epic adventure online" Rockstar announced today for Grand Theft Auto Online. Will be released on December 12.

GTA Online players have spent years trying to unravel the mystery of Mount Chilliad, deciphering glyphs, analyzing clues, and rummaging about UFOs. His years of tireless research can finally reach a critical point with "The Doomsday Heist". As one Redditor said, "r / chilliadmystery just broke a nut to see that jet pack"

Here is the trailer.

Pretty epic, right? It looks more like a trailer for the downloadable content of the story than a simple online theft, although this is definitely something of GTA Online . We have familiar faces coming together, a global conspiracy and the "total annihilation" of San Andreas is on the table. While such an event would do wonders for the country's crime statistics, we probably do not want that.

Here is the full description of Rockstar's The Doomsday Heist:

A billionaire technology tycoon, an idealistic intelligence agent, a socially clumsy conspiracy theorist and a neurotic supercomputer have been forced into a little alliance probable to save San Andreas from total annihilation. As the apocalyptic threats of unknown enemies increase, you and your criminal crew get ready to unravel mysteries and eradicate the threats that go from the bustling streets of downtown Los Santos to the bottom of the ocean and to the depths of Mount Chiliad in a epic new adventure online.

While I'm not particularly interested in the mystery of Mount Chilliad, I'm totally in the mood for jet packs.
