After speaking with the Los Angeles Lakers, Ron Adams will remain in a revised position in the coaching staff of the Golden State Warriors, according to league sources told ESPN.
The Lakers had received permission from the Warriors to talk to Adams about the possibility of joining Frank Vogel's staff, but no official offer was made, according to a league source.
Adams has been a key assistant coach for the Warriors. He has just finished his fifth season on Steve Kerr's team and the 25th overall season as assistant coach of the NBA.
The Lakers are still looking for coaches to join attendees Jason Kidd and Lionel Hollins.
