Romain Grosjean, driver of Haas F1, does not believe that Pierre Gasly has committed a fault to prevent him during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix, since the 33-year-old believes that Red Bull should have advised Gasly that his compatriot was coming.
Gasly was finally penalized for the incident, and received a penalty of three places to stop Grosjean.
However, Grosjean got the worst part of the deal, as his slow lap was ruined by slow Gasly, meaning he was eliminated from qualifying in Q2 in contrast to his teammate Kevin Magnussen, who went to Q3 and got the sixth fastest time and will now start fifth due to Gasly's penalty.
"Poor guy, they did not say anything to him" Grosjean said Motorsport.com.
"It has had great, great consequences for me because I could have achieved it in Q3 and, obviously, I finished in 13th.
"I think Red Bull massively fucked that, Pierre could not do anything."
