Pricing for Google’s upcoming Android TV dongle may have leaked courtesy of Home Depot. Viewed by 9to5Google, this new device can run around $ 50 when it lands, and can come in three colors: Rock Candy, Como Blue and Summer Melon.

While Home Depot’s inventory system may currently have $ 50 value placeholders, they matter a lot. It would be foolish to charge more than competitors like Google, Stoking Stick or Amazon Fire TV for Roku or Amazon. The $ 50 brings it to parity with other offerings on the market, and is lower than that of the Chromecast Ultra – for those in the Google ecosystem, which can make the $ 50 price a less-than-perfect competitor.

We do not know precisely which of these three leek shades is shed; While “Como Blue” is clear enough, Summer Melon and Rock Candy can be similar to the colors offered in Nest Speakers, or something else.

A release date is still not known, although details about the dongle have been leaked, and it simply cruised past the FCC. I hope we’ll hear more every time Google unveils the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G – presumably made by Google Events, estimated annually, usually in October.
