Google says it’s 3 days a week at office, can be comfortable WFH: report

The New York Times reported on Monday that Alphabet’s Google would allow its employees to work from home by September next year.

Reportedly, the company was also testing the idea of a “flexible workweek” once the company employees were told in an email on Sunday that it was safe to return to the office.

The newspaper report stated that under the scheme, Google employees would be expected to work from home at least three days a week.

“We are testing a hypothesis that a flexible work model will lead to productivity, collaboration and well-being,” Pichai wrote in an email.

Google was one of the first companies to ask its employees to work from home due to the epidemic. Earlier there has been a time delay when employees should return to office from January to July next year.
