Hummer EV has a new release date. GMC will expand its new electric truck on 20 October, with online reservations opening on the same day. The automaker originally planned to reveal the vehicle on May 20, but the incident was delayed due to a coronovirus epidemic.

A on the building Tease This was shared last week, with GMC also confirming that the truck would include a ‘crab mode’ feature that would allow it to move diagonally. In addition, we also know that the Hummer’s electric engine will reach 1,000 horsepower and give it the ability to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about three seconds. You will have the option to remove its roof panel so that you can take in the scenery more easily while driving. All of those features should make for an interesting EV, but whether there is a market for a luxury super-truck in 2020 is a different question. Hummer EVs may also face stiff competition from Tesla Siebertruck and Rivian R1T.
